Tenth Annual Australian Fund Manager Awards Night

Wednesday 22nd October 2008

This is the tenth year that Australian Fund Managers have gathered and this years events will be held at the Star City Ballroom Level 3, in Sydney for the Annual Awards Night. It is now the leading Awards event for the industry as well as a major fund raiser for charity. Over $214,000 was raised in 2007 and total funds distributed to charity over the life of the event is over $1.1 Million.

Award Categories:

Hall of Fame Award

The Annual Hall of Fame Award acknowledges individuals who have excelled in the investment industry by contributing notably to its standards and success over time.

Past Winners:

The major sponsors to the event are drawn from the investment management companies and service providers to this industry. Leading stockbrokers have been particularly supportive and deserve special mention.

As funds distributed to charity from the Award's night now total some $1.1 Million. the event is one of which the investment community can be justifiably proud, particularly as much of the organisation is based on voluntary support from full time working members of the industry.

While many fund management organisations make their own charitable arrangements, this evening is positioned so that they, investment industry individuals and service provider to the industry, can all demonstrate their sense of community support.

The 2008 Annual Fund Manager Awards night is on Wednesday 22nd October at the Star City Ballroom Level 3. Tables of 10 are available at $2,750 or $275 per head.
